I’m sure that these pages will see their fair share of whining. I’m a fairly realistic, if not cynical guy. I like seeing the world from a gloomy perspective. Mostly its a front though. I have a loving family, a wonderful wife, and all the things that make it impossible not to be thankful for my life. A recent trip to California, capped off by a 3 day cruise to Mexico is evidence that I have it pretty good.

This is my first real attempt at photography. My wife and I bought ourselves a Nikon D80 and a Nikon 18-200 zoom lens for an early Christmas present. I’m finally comfortable with the camera, and this is the result of my first real “photo session”.
